At MakeMinis, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Return Window
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for eligible items. Return requests must be submitted within this timeframe to be considered.
2. Eligible Items for Return
To be eligible for a return, items must meet ALL of the following conditions:
- Item must be unopened and unused in its original packaging
- All original seals, tags, and protective wrapping must be intact
- Item must be in the exact condition as received
- Original receipt or proof of purchase must be provided
- Item must not be on the non-returnable list (see below)
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:
- Pre-order items
- Clearance or sale items
- Limited edition or exclusive releases
- Items marked as “Final Sale” at time of purchase
- Opened or damaged packaging
- Items showing any signs of use or wear
- Custom or special orders
- Items purchased during promotional events or flash sales
4. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery
- Provide your order number and reason for return
- Wait for our return authorization approval (RMA number)
- Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method
- Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted
Important: Do not ship items back without receiving a return authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
5. Return Shipping
Customer Responsibility:
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance
- MakeMinis is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Exception: If the item received is defective or incorrect due to our error, we will cover return shipping costs.
6. Refund Processing
Inspection Period:
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item within 5-7 business days to verify it meets our return conditions.
Refund Timeline:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after inspection
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- Shipping fees are non-refundable except for defective or incorrect items
Partial Refunds:
Partial refunds may be granted for items returned in less than perfect condition:
- Opened packaging: 30-50% restocking fee
- Minor damage or imperfections: Assessed case-by-case
- Missing components or accessories: Proportional deduction
7. Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item:
- Contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the damage/defect and packaging
- Keep all original packaging materials
- Do not discard the item until we complete our investigation
We will determine whether to offer:
- Full refund (including return shipping)
- Replacement item (subject to availability)
- Partial refund for minor defects
Note: We are not responsible for manufacturer defects. For manufacturing issues, please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims.
8. Wrong Item Received
If you receive an incorrect item due to our error:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- We will provide a prepaid return label
- Send the correct item or issue a full refund
- Cover all associated shipping costs
9. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you want a different item:
- Return the original item following our return process
- Once refund is processed, place a new order
- New items are subject to current pricing and availability
10. International Returns
For international orders:
- Same return policy applies
- Customer pays all return shipping costs and customs fees
- Returns must clear customs inspection
- Processing time may be longer due to international shipping
- We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value returns
11. Order Cancellation
Before Shipment:
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if not yet processed or shipped. Contact us immediately at [email protected].
After Shipment:
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You must follow the return process after receiving the item.
Pre-Orders:
Pre-order cancellations are not accepted once the order is placed. All pre-orders are final sale.
12. Refused or Unclaimed Packages
If you refuse delivery or fail to claim your package:
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund
- A 15% restocking fee may apply
- Refund will be processed only after the package returns to us
13. Important Terms
- All returns are subject to inspection and approval
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that don’t meet our conditions
- Promotional gift items must be returned with the original purchase
- Refunds are issued in the original currency of purchase
- We do not refund payment processing fees
- This policy may be updated without prior notice
